الحمد لله رب العالمين
[All] praise is [due] to Allah , Lord of the worlds –
تفسير السعدي:
“الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ” هو الثناء على الله بصفات الكمال, وبأفعاله الدائرة بين الفضل والعدل, فله الحمد الكامل, بجميع الوجوه. “رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ” الرب, هو المربي جميع العالمين. وهم من سوى الله, بخلقه إياهم, وإعداده لهم الآلات, وإنعامه عليهم بالنعم العظيمة, التي لو فقدوها, لم يكن لهم البقاء. فما بهم من نعمة, فمنه تعالى. وتربيته تعالى لخلقه. نوعان: عامة وخاصة. فالعامة: هي خلقه للمخلوقين, رزقهم, وهدايتهم لما فيه مصالحهم, التي فيها بقاؤهم في الدنيا. والخاصة: تربيته لأوليائه, فيربيهم بالإيمان, ويوفقهم له, ويكملهم, ويدفع عنهم الصوارف, والعوائق الحائلة بينهم وبينه. وحقيقتها: تربية التوفيق لكل خير, والعصمة من كل شر. ولعل هذا المعنى, هو السر في كون أكثر أدعية الأنبياء بلفظ الرب. فإن مطالبهم كلها داخلة تحت ربوبيته الخاصة. فدل قوله “رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ” على انفراده بالخلق والتدبير, والنعم, وكمال غناه. وتمام فقر العالمين إليه, بكل وجه واعتبار.
Tafsir al-Jalalayn (Famous interpretation book of Holy Quran):
Praise be to God, is a predicate of a nominal clause, the content of which is intended to extol God [by stating that]: He possesses the praise of all creatures, or that He [alone] deserves their praise. God is a proper noun for the One truly worthy of worship; Lord of all Worlds, that is, [He is] the One Who owns all of creation: humans, jinn, angels, animals and others as well, each of which may be referred to as a ‘world’; one says ‘the world of men’, or ‘world of the jinn’ etc. This plural form with the yā’ and the nūn [sc. ‘ālamīn] is used to denote, predominantly, cognizant beings (ūlū ‘ilm). The expression [‘ālamīn] relates to [the term] ‘sign’ (‘alāma), since it is an indication of the One that created it.
خواطري:
عندما أبدأ بقول “الحمد” يظهر أمام عيني الكثير والكثير من النعم التي لا تحصي والتي أنعم الله بها علي من دون حول لي ولا قوة. وفي كل مره تختلف هذه النعم التي أتذكرها بناءً علي ما يدور أو كان يدور في عقلي. نعم الله كثيره علينا حقاً.
في تصوري أنه لابد من حمد الله كثيراً ليس مدحا في الله فلن يؤثر ولا يزيده ذلك مثقال ذره جل في علاه، ولكنه يزكي نفوسنا بتذكير نفوسنا أن كل ما نحن فيه إنما هو فضل من الله ونعمه والتي يجب حسن استخدامها علي المنهج الذي أمرنا به الله تعالي في قرآنه وسنة نبيه وإتباع كل الأنبياء والمرسلين والإيمان بالملائكه واليوم الآخر.
كلنا نعلم ان الحقيقه الوحيده في هذا الكون هي الله أو علي الأرجح هذه هي الحقيقه الوحيده التي يمكن إدراكها بعقلنا المحدود القدرات! فقد نصدق في شيء اليوم ونكفر به في اليوم التالي. وقد نعيش في مجتمع يعتنق قيم محدده وبعد قليل من السنوات يعتنق عكس تلك القيم تماماً فكل شيء من حولنا ما هو إلا ما ندركه نحن عن ما نراه إلا حقيقة واحده وهي وجود الله وألوهيته وعبوديتنا له واحقيته في إتباعنا أياه وذلك يقع في أعماقنا حيث الروح ونصدقه صدق اليقين!
My thoughts:
When I say: the word “praise”, a lot of givings and grants start to appear in front of my eyes which I cannot even count. They are all for me from God, and every time I remember different ones according to what goes on my head in the remembrance time. Really they are ALOT! Praise and thanks to God.
I believe that we “must” thank God alot, not because He needs that, but because it’s good for us to always remember the givings and grants that we have, and use it in the proper way Allah (God) created it for in The Holy Quran and prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) teachings.
All of us know, with our limited thinking abilities, that the only truth in the universe is Allah. We may believe in something today and disbelieve in it the next day. We may also live in a society that has certain traditions, while it may change in jiffy! Everything is variable except for Allah! Deep inside, we believe in him, believe in him being the God, believe in his right to be worshiped… and that’s deep inside of us where the soul lies.
